The sand is completely white here … and it has been very rainy and quite cold … so, wet sand that looks just like snow. We walked and walked the amazing beaches … along the snow. It even feels like snow as you walk.
The last day we had a huge storm with 50 mph winds, the waves were only 50 feet away pounding the beach. It was so windy that I even put my slides in for fear that they may break.
And … I had an Olympic size pool and hot tub all to myself … for 10 full days. It is simply amazing to live on the beach with an Olympic size pool for $57 a day!
And, now, up up and away to Sarasota, about 450 miles, for Christmas!
