San Antonio: More River Walk Photos

Hi Dear Ones: Well, we've done it again. Fallen in love with San Antonio ... just like we did with Sedona. In Sedona the red rocks and hikes cast their spell; here, it is the amazing River Walk. We walk it every day. So ... more photos to share with you. It is at least 7 miles long meandering through both residential and downtown areas. They just finished the northerly segment a few days ago. Some areas even have audio, croaking frogs and other sounds of the river. Egret and turtles make it their homes. You will see colorful flying fish and waterfalls of all types. The humungous and incredible Museum of Art borders it, along with many of the very best restaurants. It is an amazing art form and cultural and natural landscape. (Remember, the last blog entry has more photos!)

We also met up with another Carolina dog here at the park. Her name is Pampa, and she is family of John and Marshall. She and Carolina look like twins and know they are family.

You meet some very interesting people in these parks. Yesterday I met Santa. Wonderful beard and stache. He moves into the park with his four dogs and appears at the local malls. I also met a San Diego couple who travel with their seven dogs in a 36’ home! We leave San Antonio early December, onto New Orleans, Gulf Coast of Florida for Christmas (a quaint beach town called Seaside), then Key West for the New Year!

Sedona to San Antonio

Hi Loves: We're in San Antone! We've been here almost a week. Carolina's my official Service Dog now. Storm, a dear friend we made in Sedona, trained her. This picture series is: The River walk from various points and some other highlights of San Antonio. We just love it here. The architecture, history and culture are rich -- and the River Walk is amazing! I saw River Dance at the historical and gorgeous Majestic Theater shown in the photos. We take our daily hike either on the 8 mile Mission trail (5 historic missions) that begins at our park here or we do yet another segment of the River Walk. When you click on a photo, it enlarges.

We stayed in amazing Sedona for 4 months. The red rocks were incredible. Carol, Pedro and Jaz visited, and we made many new friends. The picture series is: Pedro, Michael, Jaz, Carol, Fred, Carolina (always), Storm and me.

Las Cruces, New Mexico was our home for 2 weeks. I had Maggie's damage repaired and Molly painted to match en route. The photo series is: The fleet and a full moon sunset along Route 10.
